WHAT WE COLLECT
When you submit a website enquiry, we collect the information you provide: venue name, contact name, email address, optional telephone number, preferred quiz style, night of the week, frequency and proposed start date.
Our hosting and security providers may also process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and request logs, to operate and protect the website.
HOW WE USE IT
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss suitable quiz services, prepare a proposal where requested and keep a record of relevant business correspondence.
Our lawful basis is normally taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to genuine business enquiries and managing potential client relationships.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
Enquiry forms are delivered through FormSubmit, an external form-processing and email-delivery service. Information may also be processed by the providers that host and secure this website and our email service. We do not sell your personal information.
The venue map uses OpenStreetMap map tiles. When the map loads, OpenStreetMap or its infrastructure providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond and manage a potential service arrangement—normally no longer than 12 months if the enquiry does not lead to an ongoing business relationship. Relevant records may be retained longer where required for an active contract, accounting, legal or dispute-resolution purposes.
FormSubmit states that it retains form submissions for up to 30 days.
COOKIES, ANALYTICS AND EXTERNAL LINKS
We use a first-party visitor identifier to measure total website visits, approximate unique visitors, time spent on each page, interest in individual quiz venues and clicks on booking or directions links. Time on a page is estimated only while that page is visible. The identifier does not contain your name, email address or advertising profile, and the information is used only to understand and improve this website.
Essential authentication technology may also be used when the private venue-management area is accessed. Links to services such as Trustpilot and Google Maps take you to external websites, which operate under their own privacy policies.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, or receive a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
